i have an older model aqua view camera and last year when i was taking it out of my truck the camera hit up against the bottom of the door and sliced the cord just above the camera. the cord is not completely cut through but it doesnt work at all. I was wondering if there was a place that sells the cord and the camera or if there was a place that i could bring it to to get it fixed. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A replacement cord and camera is pretty expensive. I would contact Aqua Vu and see if they can fix it first. Their Phone number is 218-825-0733.

I "think" it's just like a cable tv cable. You need to slice the "outside" wires together and the inside wire together. It's hard to explain, unless you know what the inside of a tv cable looks like. I "think" if you spliced these together correctly you could get it to work again, but you may have a hard time sealing it back up water proof, and if it did get wet??? I have no idea what that would or could do to your camera. You might be able to search up online online how to's for coaxial cables to better explain what I'm talking about.
