Good morning Mike,

It's funny I was wondering the same thing. I just got off of work and was thinking of either pheasant hunting or fishing the river. As I look out the window the river is like glass. I've been busy deer hunting the last two weeks, so I haven't been out. I also haven't heard any reports.

Maybe I'll head up to the Spur station and check out their minnow selection and give it a try. I'll give you a report later today.

Just got off the river, it's been a while since I sat through an all day rain. The fishing was slowwwww!!! Three small walleyes and four decent smallmouth. The water temp was 38 degrees. I can probubly say this was my last trip trip on the river for this year.

TourPro, thanks for the report. By the looks of the weather report for the next week, the boat may be getting winterized. My inlaws live in Swanville, and we'll be up for Thanksgiving. Thought I might sneak in some fishing, but if not I've had a good year,and I'll be looking forward to next year. Good luck with the rest of the hunting season. Thank's again for the info this year, it's been helpful.
