i have never done this forum thing before. i have posted a couple questions about the fishing up there. i haven't got any replies. am i doing something wrong??? let me know....just curious how the fish are bitin' walleye and perch???? any good tips on location of perch on south end????? all the folks we have ever dealt with up there always seem so willing to help!!!thanks

Nope, your doing everything right and welcome to FM. The fishing has been slow and when that happends, people don't talk much. The mud flats are producing some Walleyes as well as the rocks. The Perch are biting but you need to weed through them to get some eaters. There is alot of baby Perch in the lake right now making the Walleye bite tough. Check in with folks on the lake for the latest.

Don't get so discouraged. Its just that sometimes people ask such broad questions. Other times the answer you're looking for is in another thread. People don't like answering over and over again. You're doing fine

thanks for the help guys!!! i will be staying at mcquoids....hope to see you out there. will be there tuesday thru saturday. last couple years found the bite to be much better during week with less traffic...again thanks, will let you know how we do.
