New motor owner here, just wondering if anyone can give me some advice for storing a 15hp merc for the winter. I have a spot indoors to store the motor, so temperature and elements will not be an issue. Do people still recommend using an engine fog spray, or is that unneccesary when storing a motor indoors. Also, the 6.5 gallon tank will be stored in an unheated garage. I assume a fuel stabilizer is recommended? Should I try to store the tank as empty as possible or keep it full? Any suggestions for storing the motor over winter are greatly appreciated and will hopefully ensure a better spring! Thanks

I would still fog it and run some stabil through it. While your at it change the lower unit oil. You want to keep rings etc. lubed upover the winter.
