Need Late Fall Fishing Help

I have tried to hit the Fall river run a few times and have not been successful. I am planning a trip for Nov 8-11. I have heard you need the shiners running to have the hot bite and they make a few runs. Am I going to be too late or do they keep making runs till 1st ice. I plan on staying at Borderview and working the river or out past Pine Island if the wind isn't bad. It was a window for me to get away and even if I am too late, sitting in a boat beats working. Thanks in advance for any tips.

Current is going to be an issue on the river. We have been dumped on up here the last few weeks. Sandee, at Clemetson, is reporting heavy current. Just keep that in mind, you might have to adjust accordingly.
