Weekend Reports

Hi guys!
I wish I could have made it up there this weekend to post my own report, but had too many irons in the fire. I'm interested to know how the rest of the crew did. I'm really hoping to pull the shack out off shore next weekend?

I put my house out of MTB this past weekend and did pretty well. I caught about a dozen perch (4 jumbos), 4 smallmouth bass (all big), one walleye that was a hair over the slot, and lost a big pike at the hole on 2 lb line.

I'm happy with that for a start. I was in shallow, over rocks.

i was out from the east side marina sunday... about 28' of water. kind of a slow day... tough to get them to bite... ended up with four jumbos and two 16" walleyes... just barely in the slot. could have been much better but could have been a lot worse. that wind was nasty out there!

Put the shack out of Dickies on Saturday, fished only in the shack as the wind was a beeeeach. Nothing but dink perch and one cigar 'eye all in 18' just off the hole right out side of MTB. Sounds like I need to go shallow?
