Static shock!!

Fish On! Guide Service

Recommended Posts

Hey Folks,
Went up to the pond this morning and fished for less than an hour due to the lightning. The air was waaaaaay to full of energy; we recieved plenty of shocks by touching the rods so we figured better to fish another day rather than to get electrocuted. I couldn't believe the traffic trying to launch boats as we were leaving. Lightning zipping across the sky constantly with a steady downpour, and boats were still coming faster then they could leave. I sure hope noone gets zapped. Anyone have any luck?

FishOn, My girlfriend and I were out also WAY too scary... She laughed at me all the way home, about my hair standing straight-up! Wasn't too funny out on the boat though. Couldn't believe the boats heading out as we were escaping!

We stayed out through that downpour but didnt notice anything with static or shocking at all thank god, if I would have you know where I would have went. We found fish on the basin between 7 and 8mile during that stuff. I couldnt get fish to touch a crankbait.
