I'll be on Island Lake again this opener, hopefully with a little better luck than last year. Put the dock in last weekend and the water is as low as I've seen it in the 4 years I've been going there. I'll be in a 18' Lund Pro-V and docked on the SE side of the lake by the little island. Feel free to stop by and share some stories (and maybe a cold one). Good fishin!

Fivebucks~With all the stuff going on around here looks like we're going to be lucky to hit the open water once this weekend, so we'll just go to Blackduck since it's only a mile away. We do have some folks coming in this weekend that are going to hit Island, how's it looking at the public access for launching?

Good luck to you~look forward to hearing how you do. You usually head up quite a bit during the summer don't you? Hopefully we can meet you on the water during one of your outings here.

Yea, I hope we get to meet up this summer. I've got to make it a point to stop in and say hello. I'm not sure what the landing looks like, never made it to that side of the lake last weekend. I would think it is OK. Remind your people hitting Island that the Northern Pike special regs are on that lake, I think all between 24"-36" must be released (I believe that takes effect on Sat.)

Good Luck on the water!

Fivebucks,
Look forward to hearing the opener report. Won't be there this opener. Puts a blemish on my record. With the weather we've been having I expect a good one up there. We pushed our trip back to June 14th cause the pups I fish with don't like the up and down weather each year(very weak), and now look at the weather this year.
Anyway, I know where you are on the lake and will look for you when we're up in June.
Good luck this weekend!
Dan

Fivebucks has the most picturesque location on Island Lake. It's located near the shore just off a point but back far enough into the trees to be secluded. And to top it off he's within easy trolling motor distance of some of the best walleye and panfish spots on the lake. Some folk's have all the luck. grin.gif

Speaking of luck, the best to all of you this opener. I'll be waiting to hear all the reports on Monday. As for me, June 7 is only 30 days away. I hope you leave me a few.

Best regards,

Indiana Mike

Well, I wish I could say we hammered them but all we got was hammer-handled. Caught 1 eye off the dock within the first hour of season and then Sat. morning was slow. We didn't quite get up at the crack of dawn but once on the water it was slow for us. Could not find any eyes but at least the small northerns were hitting for some action. Tried shallow, deep, and in-between to no avail. Talking with people at the Dockside for the Wild game we found it was pretty slow. It seemed 1 out of 4 boats had an eye or two. It was good to be out on the water and next time we'll do much better. How was the fishing for some of you others?

We fished deep shallow and in-between.
Tried raps, lindys, jigs. and only managed to get 3 walleyes. Got blown off the lake sunday! Oh well. !!
With better weather and higher water temps, the fishing can only get better.

Fishspicermn,
I wouldn't get too excited about my "hotspots" as they were cold. The water temp. was 46-47 degrees, a bit chilly. I don't fish the side of the lake north of the island very much so I don't have much info there. There were boats hangin out on the east end of the island - not sure how they did. I always notice a good share of boats fishin on the south side of the island this time of year and I have had good luck there also. I would work the breaks along structure starting in the 8' range if cloudy and work your way deeper. I like to fish jig and minnow (shiners) but also have decent luck on colored hook on a lindy rig set-up. Last year was slow on the lake most of the time as I think there was a good perch hatch. Also, don't rule out slip bobbers and minnows or leeches. The only eye we caught on opener was at night off the dock. Good luck. I'll be there soon, maybe not this weekend but for sure on Memorial weekend.

I’ve only seen teal one morning on the river.  Absolutely nothing in all the evenings I’ve been out.  Hard to get excited about hunting around home. 😒

Public Administration in any sphere is a complicated process. In public service, there is a high level of responsibility. Every decision may affect large groups of people. There are many challenging points in Public Administration in public service. For example, public administration servants might face a lack of clarity or conflict regarding goals. Public Administration is difficult when there are numerous parties involved. Public Administration essay in public service should also be as objective as possible. There are voting sessions in various committees that help reach the objectiveness. However, if a suggestion gets 50% of votes among street-level bureaucrats, how should this be interpreted? Is a minor preponderance of votes enough to accept a proposal? The sphere implies a focus on societal needs. Sometimes the needs of the target population differ from the common societal ones. In such cases, public administration specialists need to find a balance between those interests. Bureaucrats at street level need to take into consideration many factors. In some cases, it might be challenging to figure out what to do. It is especially true if the decision regards a long-term perspective. Any public service organization has an established pattern for effective decision-making. Such models might involve many formalities. As a result, the process might be extremely time-consuming. https://proessays.net/essays/category/public-administration Related Resources: https://renkulab.io/gitlab/-/snippets/2871 https://www.ridesharetalks.com/?qa=356716/economics-essay-example https://gitlab.syntra-limburg.be/-/snippets/1240 https://forum.making-stories.com/d/296-government-essay-examples

Been searching for teal with hazel and Finn. We seen a few but not any numbers anywhere. I think I got a pond that will be good as it was full of rice.

The essay for international exams such as SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS does not require literary talent, but rather a mastery of the technology of its writing.   Almost any international test for admission to a foreign university contains a section devoted to writing an essay. Is homework market legit? There is a general approach to essay writing for standardized tests, which includes five main steps.   DETERMINING THE TYPE OF ESSAY First, you need to determine what type of essay you are required to write. Standardized tests more often ask you to write a "problem essay," when you need to present an opinion on a given problem, and an "argumentative essay," when you need to analyze the arguments presented against or in defense of a particular point of view.   DETERMINING THE LENGTH OF AN ESSAY The length of the text affects the complexity of the essay, the number of paragraphs. A basic three-paragraph essay consists of 300-500 words. It is referred to as a "short" essay in standardized tests. A "long" essay is a minimum of 500-800 words and consists of five paragraphs.   Each paragraph should contain at least three sentences. It is important to understand that it is not the length of the typed text that is assessed, but the structure and content of the essay.   FORMULATION OF THE MAIN IDEA, THESIS AND ARGUMENTS The main idea is what the essay is about. The thesis is what the author thinks about the main idea of the essay. Arguments are logical statements in support of the author's thesis. Each of these elements should consist of at least one sentence.   If you put these elements in order, you will get an introduction. You can use the wording from the text of the assignment as the main idea.   If the text of the assignment is formulated as a question, in most cases, the thesis should be formulated as an answer to the question posed.   STATEMENT OF THE MAIN BODY OF THE ESSAY In an essay of up to three thousand words, one paragraph each is allocated for the introduction and conclusion. The rest of the essay consists of the main body. For example, in an essay of five paragraphs, the main part should consist of three paragraphs, i.e. one paragraph for each argument.   In a three-paragraph essay, only one paragraph remains to present all three arguments, which makes it even more difficult to write. After a brief outline of the main body, one introductory sentence should be written for each paragraph.     The introductory sentences tell the reader what the paragraph is about. This is followed by arguments that justify the essence of the introductory sentence and examples (a quote or a life case). The introductory sentence, argument, and example together make up one paragraph in the main body.   Since the arguments have already been presented in the introduction, there is no need to use semantic transitions in the main body - all that remains is to set them out in the order in which they are presented in the introduction.   CONCLUSION The conclusion is usually the most difficult part of the essay. The conclusion should include a paraphrase of the thesis in light of what was said in the main body, i.e., an explanation of how the arguments support the thesis put forward, and a final sentence that draws a line under the main idea of the essay.   The clearer and more definite the thesis statement is, the easier it is to write the conclusion. Difficulties in writing the conclusion means that most likely the thesis statement is too unclear. In this case, you can try to rewrite the introduction and then go back to the conclusion.   GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS The main recommendation for writing essays for standardized tests is to quickly sketch out an initial version of the essay. If you run out of time, at least you will have a finished, albeit imperfect, product.   In any case, a finished essay is always graded higher than an unfinished one. If you have some time left, however, you can easily improve the essay with small changes.   Resources: How to write an essay What are essays Essay structure, writing style. What is an essay?

Several months ago, it was challenging for me to find at least 6 hours to sleep. Students most probably know that feeling: professors just don’t care. But after I found Proessays, things changed. I can entrust completing papers to them and have my life back. At last!

In a guide to writing sociology papers, the Sociology Writing Group identifies four types of papers that are based on data sources as the most common writing assignments given to undergraduate sociology majors: (1) The textual analysis paper in which the student has to analyze a text like an essay or book. The text provides the data, and the student is not asked to interpret the text. (2) The ethnographic field research paper in which data are generated by observing and interacting with people in their social environment. (3) The quantitative research paper in which data are collected using specific methods of data analysis and collection in order to answer a sociological question. (4) The general research paper in which data are collected through library research to refine a question and gather information to support the paper's thesis.
