River Fishing

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a river area that would be open that a person might have a chance to catch some catfish this time of year. One more item, are there any hot crappie reports locally? Thanks

Hey Rebels, I don't have any info on catfishing, but crappies are good on little rock lake off of hwy 10. On the north end out about 3/4 of a mile. Nice crappies are being caught after 7:30. Most of them are over 3/4 lbs. One was 2 pounds.

hey rebels, Sorry, no report for catfish from me, but a lake north of st. cloud. Little rock lake has some nice crappies on the north end. after 7:30 they start to bite. 3/4 pound to 2 pounds. They are nice fish and I fish in about 17 - 19 feet deep. This might be a little far, but it might be worth it.
