Does anyone know of a site where I can get a printable rough fish ID chart? I tried the roughfish.com site but unless I was doing something wrong, I wasn't able to print off a readable version? Thanks.

Yeah I am having them printed now and will send them to local bait shops.

Can I get the I.D. chart at a discount if I order directly from you? I'd be interested in a small bulk of them.

Are these just local rough fish?

Sure no problem. They are all fish found in Minnesota, so yeah they are local. I should get my first batch back from the printer this weekend. Hopefully they do a good job.

One of the volunteers at Coon Rapids Dam Visitors Center (can't remember his name... but he's the falconer with the beard and glasses) says he's looking for a chart that will list all fish, game or rough, within Minnesota. Think you can help him out? I'm sure this rough fish chart of yours will be a great start!

Sure I'd be glad to help. I fish the CRD every so often. I'll stop by with a chart once the darn printer finishes them.

I haven't fished there very much this year. Where would you suggest I fish for a decent variety of rough fish?

Above the dam or below?
If below, at the end of the island? East or west side?

Definitely below. Close to the dam is best, but it can get a little crowded in sunny weather, so I'll move off downstream aways. The tip of the island is a good spot too, I've caught 16 species of fish there.

Thanks. I've been thinking about hitting the tip of the island for the carp. I haven't had much luck finding any anywhere else.
