For year round walleye fishing or is north better than south or one side or corner better than others. I live closest to the east side. I ask this because I am looking at buying a reelbottom map and want the most out of my money. Heard anything about these maps or can anyone suggest a good map?

I agree with Scott. Just buy the Lakemaster software with reelbottom and then print your own. I print mine out on photo paper, makes them water resistant. Also makes it very easy to transfer wypoints from your computer to GPS

Get all 4! There is good structure around the entire lake. I have the software and my partner has the hard maps. I would say the NE corner has the least amount of structure but those reelbottoms are unbelievable. Combine those with the Lakemaster software and it is amazing the new spots you can find.ScottS

That's great. How much is the software? Also, is any part of the lake better than another(N,W,S,E)?

Reelbottom maps are setting new standards in the lakemap industry.

You can order it here and will also give you the price.

AS for the best side of the lake. That really depends on what time of year and what you are fishing for. Right now I think one of the better places on the lake is the sand on the north end. The bite up there has been incredible judging from my own experiences and other posts. That will probably changed in the middle of June and the walleye will start to migrate to other locations.

Now if you're are talking Muskie my preference would lean more toward the south and east. More weed beds, rock points etc.

Good luck and good fishin'
