Awesome day on the river. Gorgeous weather and the smallies were really biting well. We were fishing tube jigs in neon green. We were only out from about 3 to 7 and caught many - funny thing is we have NEVER caught so many small ones!! The small 6 to 8 inch fish were literally pooled up like sunnies. I think we would have had a chance for some nicer fish - but the small ones were just attacking the tubes. No complaints though - we had a 16,16.5 and 17 - along with some smaller 13s and 14s. Best day on the river all year.
