Muskies in North Mississippi

Spallgard

Recommended Posts

I have watched several shows where the Lindners spend a lot of time fishing Musky's on the northern Miss. I was wondering what section of the river this includes.
I would like to try some river Musky fishing but would like to be in the ballpark when I get there.

Thanks for any help.

I would imagine your best bet would be above Sartel and all the way up. Fort Ripley has skis around. I caught one on accident (it was about 36") and saw one that was it's mama.

I agree with EBass. The area around Little Falls has a nice population of muskies.

i think the area the linders fish for muskies in the fall is just south of brainerd.in one show i saw the new 371 bypass bridge and the shore line in the other shows looks like sand and jack pines witch is common to this northern area
