Walleye

Has anyone been out on the Miss from Clearwater to Coon Rapids and caught much for walleye? I was out with HawgTide this weekend and caught 2 walleye north of Becker, 1 of the fish was 3.9lb. They didn't but up near the fight of a 1lb smallie but it did shock me.

I have over the years caught a fair amount of walleyes. Usually the 1-3lb variety. I did hook into a 5lb. fish a couple of years ago. Most of the fish have come from around the islands no. of Moti. Hope that helps!
