Got this from another website:

Monday there were a fair number in the Lake Ocheda, Lake Bella area. They were new migrators. These are traditional stopping spots. There is no snow here so they can be gone the next day. You want a day like they are forecasting for this Friday, warm and windy out of a southerly direction. You will see a lot of migrating birds with a chance of decoying a flock or two or sneaking some that are feeding in the cornfields. A lot of the birds you see will be heading right through to South Dakota. The perfect day is like yesterday with a south wind right off the bat switching to the northwest and blowing hard. That will cause them to come down and rest and feed. Lake Ocheda and Bella are a couple of miles south of Worthington. They are still ice covered with the edges starting to open up. Round Lake which is just east of Ocheda can stack birds up too. Good luck.

Forget down by worthington. If you want snows go about 20 miles north of worthington to the Slayton area. They are everywhere.
