You are close to some good water; Rush, Skogman, Green and Knife Lakes are all known for good fishing. The secret is you have to be there on the right day and do the right thing. ;-)

With all the traffic and pressure, the fish will change their feeding times and move to new areas. You need to study the maps and find a good spot that is not covered with houses.

Keep trying, watch this board for current reports. Rush has been producing, in the early AM away from the houses. Look for the 'classic' structure and put in some time. The Crappies and Walleye are plentiful, but that doesn't make them easy to catch.
