Green lake (Princeton area) Walleyes/Crappies

Recommended Posts

I haven't heard anything out of Green this year. I was wondering if anyone has been catching any decent sized Walleyes or Crappies?

Was out on Green for the first time ever just yesterday. The bite was slow but saw plenty on the vex. By talking with others the bite is mostly during the day. Early morniong and early afternoon. There was a pretty good wind out of the west yesterday which was probably the reason the bite was slow. I've never caught fish ice fishing in windy conditons. The one crappie I did get was very nice.

Was out last night. Very slow. We've been seeing fish everytime we go out on the vex, but no matter when were out there we can only seem to catch a couple. I've been hearing the same from most people on the lake. It is a very slow bite right now.

Hey Walleye Wisher, how's that Brown fish house treating you that I sold you last year. Hope you are catching lots of eyes out of it. Brant

Brant, the house is great, but the fishing has been pretty slow. I haven't caught anything to brag about this year. But it's always fun being on the ice. We had to say goodbye to that orange recliner though. We put in a card table and didn't have room for it. Only a few tears shed, so it wasn't to bad. Later, Tim
