Anyone fishing?????

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

Spent the day on Rush on Sunday.....Darn it feels good to be in the boat! Fished quite a few of our first ice spots with very little success. Tried a spot that we did better on later in the year and found some fish. Biggest was about 24". Very surprised on how few fish we were actually seeing.. ANyone else been out and had any success?

Cory, was out yesterday after noon till dark. lots of little ones and just before dark the bigger ones started to bite but not that many bites. ray and i both lost bigger fish somehow the fireline knots busted ray said to much paint on the jig eye i just blamed it on him cause it was his equipment. going out today needless to say i am bringing my own stuff looks like its going to be windy today so dont know how long we will stay out. last tuesday ray scored on a 12lber and had another up he figured went 10. we were marking good fish deep but they didn't want to go till dark.

Too much paint in the jig eye??? I think me maybe he was niffing to much paint!

I think I am going to give it one last Hurrah tonight! Sounds like you guys are moving some piggies! I was surprised on how deep, one would think they would be setting up where one does well on first ice??
