I'm over by Wilson's Island and it's been really really slow lately .I haven't heard of anyone doing that well.

The crappie bite has been slow but steady. Try 38 feet of water, small glow jigs with crappie minnows. Good luck!!!!!

If you're after muskies, try jigging some sort of transducer. Worked twice on Saturday afternoon. grin.gif If you want to see crappies being caught, just watch PWaldow.

I have not been to Rush yet this winter and was wondering about ice conditions to Crane? Do you think its OK to drive out or should I walk? [no wheeler or sled] I'm going to try it on Tues. or Weds. of this week. I was on Pokegama Sat. and there was 13" of ice and cars/trucks all over by the island. Tanks!

I was on the East side of Crane, measured 12" of ice. Some are driving vehicles out from the resort. I still trust just ATV. I don't think new ice has been made for awhile.

Dave...Tanks for the reply! I am going to try Pokegama tommorow instead of Rush. I'll try Rush when it's safe to drive Moby out.[big white merc]

Honestly, that narrows it down quiet a bit. There's only so many points by a sand bar. 😄

Be careful out there on the ice, we don't need any casualties..... Make sure it's safe..

That is if the snow holds off

Is that the one point with a cabin on it, or the one with the Oak tree?  😏

How's the performance of the lithium in the cold?

I wasn't looking for exact locations, just ideas.     I guess I don't understand the whole secrete spots thing.  I don't mind telling anyone exactly where, what and when I was fishing if I was successful.  Again, I'm not looking for that, just general ideas.  I know the lake well enough to find fish. But, I just recently, last winter, starting fishing it during winter.  I've mainly done C&R catfish, because, lets be honest they're a lot more fun to catch then walleye.

Paul has always done things the right way.   I'm looking forward to seeing what he does at Bug Be Resort.   Another great option is Artie's Bait and Tackle or Schmidt's Landing on Big Stone lake.  Walleyes, jumbo perch, tanker gills and slab crappies are all good options there.
