Forest Lake Report

Was out last night with Catchin' on lake 1. We ended up catching about 45 crappies. Nothing to brag about. The only thing that we could do to get these fish to bite was to use the smallest jig we could find and a wax worm. They wouldn't want anything else. Fished in 11 feet Pretty strange. Ice was a good 9 where we were fishing.

i heard of some nice crappies coming out of lake two... even a 16.5" that's going on the wall. how has the night bite been lately on either the 2nd or 3rd lake?

We usually do really well, but we only had two flags all day.
