Does anyone know where the two guys fell in at on the lake? I saw the news and couldn't tell where it was. I was out of the access 200 yard on thanksgiving and there was a good 3 inches then.
Just seeing if anybody knows more details. I was thinking about pulling the 4/8 out on sunday.
thanks

they were sittingout form the landing near where the river goes through the lake. they pulled themselves out and went home to change, so when the cops got there they had no idea where they went.

Jitterbug

Don't waste your time. The lake had a great crappie population back in the early 90's but was fished hard and I haven't seen a good year class fill the void since then. Its stocked with a lot of walleye fry every other year, but this does not mean the fry take. Its a good lake for early ice fishing since its one of the first to freeze in that area. Thats about all its good for.

Ditto to what jitterbug stated. This lake receives a large number of walleye fry yearly. You would think the fry would do well being the northern and bass populations are not great. I don't know what happens to the fry but this lake is a tough walleye lake. Being void of structure doesn't help matters. I have heard hard fishing has really taken it's toll on this lake. Maybe in 3-4 years it will be worth fishing again.

thanks for the advice. I won't waste my time. I guess that means I will just have to make a couple of more trips up to LOW
