Where do people fish on Green Lake for Walleye?

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering where people have been catching the largemouth on Green lake??? I fishied a few weekends ago around the southside launch and got skunked. Also, are the walleyes biting in this lake yet?? I want to check it out again this weekend so hopefully I can get some help from the experts on this forum. Thanks!

BigBak,

For bass, I'd look to the shore end of the docks right now. The water's a little high which, for whatever reason, seems to push the fish back there. This seems especially true on lakes that have a little color to the water.

Walleyes on Green are kind of a mystery to me. I've done well out there occassionally on weedlines. In particular, the east shore where it breaks fast. However, this has always been early in the year. I don't really have any good advice for this time of year. Sorry.

Hi bigbak32
Its been some years since Ive fished
Green If you are talking about about
the one by Chisago lake. If so we used
to fish the eyes by the chanel between
little green and big green just before
dusk we also did good good in front of
girlscout camp on east side if still
there.
Hope this will help.
Good luck and let me know
