Kevin, I want one! I just finished reading the article on the LowPro in B&W Boats magazine. Looks very nice, if you're ever around Becker, maybe we could hook up for a test ride...

I'd be happy to build you one! I'll be in Monticello late next week (July 8th-16th). Give me a call on my cell 314-378-2685 we'll go for a spin. Kevin....

Kevin,
I would like you to consider being a guest on a future Fish-N Line Radio Show to talk about the boats.
Hows about it?
Can I have a ride too? smile.gif

Yo Kevin,
That lead I was working on didn't pan out...sorry. He bought a jon-n-ob jet instead. He said "I can't see spending that much for a river-runner" and I said "I can't see spending what yer gonna spend...twice. Let me know how those dead-heads treat yer thinny-tin hull."

If ya ever want a part-time rep up here...I'm game.

Yup If you want the best river rig for your money...a River Pro is the way to go.You can spend a thousand or two less on a john/jet rig and have half the performance, but its going to cost you more sooner or later.Rivers are tough on boats and your going to do some damage sooner or later.
A River Pro is going to keep you from hitting objects that will do damage as theyare the shallowest running boat on the market, and if you do hit something,it is very unlikely that you will do much damage or any at all.
I can attest to that! I have hit many of deadheads, bounced off rocks, and even skipped the boats over sand bars and worst. The worst I have done would amaze anyone.I will keep this story short but here it is in a nut shell.
Recently I was thrown from my River Pro at about 35 mph and did not have the kill switch tethered to me.Lets just say I was screwing around and leave it at that.
After I was thrown the boat ran dead on at 30mph into a steep rip rap bank, and bounced up that bank and wedged itself between the trees. It came to a stop a full 4 feet clear of the water on the sharp rock.Watching this while bobbing in the water,I thought for sure that the boat would be completely wrecked. It was not the case. There was very little damage at all.A couple small dents in the bow and a few scrapes is all the damage that was done.If any other boat would have done that the hull would have been ripped wide open and maybee even buckle the boat alltogether. You would be buying a new boat!!
No repairs were needed to the River Pro and she works just like the day I bought her. They are the toughest boat I have ever seen.Built like a tank, light as a feather.Total cost of the accident? I had to replace my cell phone that was clipped on my belt when I hit the water. smile.gif
I now have my first scratches out of the way!

Dennis getting bucked out of the RiverPro? Hmmm? Just kind of makes you wonder what kind of "screwing around" he was doing. Knowing you survived pretty much unscaved I bet it was kind of funny; after the fact. I know my brother, Wiskers, has taken his over dams in the Crookston, Grand Forks area. I wouldn't even think about doing that sort of thing...even if I had a River Pro. Maybe it's just the boats that give you guys too much confidence or the testosterone level gets so high while driving that thing that logical thinking gets moved to the side so the "hey ya'll watch this" side of the brain can takeover. Some day I'll have one of my own.

See you next week Dennis.

I have noticed RiverPro owners to be a bit more daring than the average Joe. LOL...Kevin
