Wright county is full of good fishing lakes.
right down hwy 12 west of you is Howard Lake
which is a fairly good walleye & panfish lake then further west is cokato lake (ditto) north of cokato a little is Sylvia and the list goes on Collingwood and Washington are both in wright county. In fact I am on my way to collingwood tonight after work the sunfish, crappie and walleye are on the bite (don't tell anybody!). we did real well their on sunday morning.

I live in Montrose also. There are a ton of lakes in the area. I fish Buffalo a lot in the winter and had some really good luck out there. Cokato is a great smallie lake, Washington, stella, waverly are good walleye lakes. The list goes on and on. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm outta Buffalo, myself, but I still haven't fished it seriously. They say there's nice 'eyes in it, though.
My shore-wanderings have turned up 'eyes this time of year in the Missy and her tribs - Elk, Crow & I ber Clearwater would be good - but I've never tried it.
