Mayflies and Shiners

There's too many varieties of mayflies to name them all, besides I don't honestly know!
To keep shiners alive you have to keep them cool and oxygenated. Oxygen packed bags will keep bait alive for a day, if you regualte the temp. Don't put them on ice! Too much cold will kill them faster than heat. Use a little ice, and add as neccessary to a oxygen bag packed in a cooler.

Whats going on everbody? We are just chomping at the bit down here We need to get to the eyes, I think I've been over the lines and tackle 13-14 times. Anywho, does anybody know the specific type of mayfly that hatchs at Mille Lacs?
And second, does anybody have any tips on how to keep those $hiner$ alive. When ever I buy them !/2 of them are dead before I get to my spot, and the other 1/2 die within the hour. Any ideas since they will probably cost $1.75 each this year.( just another one of those covenent shortages so they can jack the price up.TAILDANCER, NATURAL GAS, ROSES ON V.D.,GASOLINE) but hey the beat goes on....
