anywhere in MN...where would you go?

If you were going to build a cabin on a lake...any lake in Minnesota...where would you build and why? Looking more from the fishing point of view than the boating recreation.

I would have to say Lake vermilion. Not hands down, but it's not too far and the fishing can be great. Lots of water to explore and a ton of structure. The land is a little expensive though. But it's only money.

Doop, I live on kabetogama and it doesn't get any better than this. Check the DNR fisheries for the fish report. Lake is loaded with eyes. Land is a premium, and not much available.. You have to get a program together to get something here. Fishkab
