army worms

Will be in Kab 5-30 . this is our 9th yr going that week. Have had good luck. Was wondering about the army worms this year or is this the year they WON'T be there. UCK. Other wise we're just hopeing that fishin is as good as it was last year.

My guess is that there won't be any worms on the 30th because we don't have any leaves on the trees yet because of the cold temps this spring. I heard somewhere that there was 7 million acres defoliated last year. They are predicting 4 million acres defoliated this year. Sounds like they are on the decline.
