Just trying to get a reply on the prospects of any Bluegills on Kabetogama - if any - ? and a possible hot spot or two for walleyes. We'll be at Kab on June 23rd. Thanks again for any info.

Sorry Lightdog, there are no bluegills in Kabetogama. I would suggest you purchase a hot spots map which you can buy at almost any sporting goods or bait shop in Minnesota. Your Resort owner should be able to head you in the right direction. The latest I have heard is that the walleyes have moved shallower into 18 to 25 ft range.

I have not fished Kab since May 20th but will be on the lake Saturday, June 16. Fishing was great then, anyone have any updated information?

We fished kab last week and just "killed them". We caught fish everywhere but they were scattered. Slot limit is really working as we caught about 75 fish "to big to keep".
Schoolteacher was hot with crankbaits or minnows. The lake is higher than I have ever seen it in 25 years, but fishing was GREAT!!
