Catfish Spots Near LP?

Recommended Posts

Aquaman01

Hi!
My family goes to Long Prairie for a few weekends every year and the next one is Labor Day. Are there any Channel Cats to be had up there within 30 minutes of LP?

Thanks-

I don't know details, but I have heard of people going over to little falls and fishing south of the dam (mississippi) for cats....You might try a message board on the Mississippi river and have better results. Good Luck, Oh, Little Falls is about 24 miles east of Long Prairie. I've never heard of any coming out of any of the smaller rivers like the Long Prairie or Sauk.

Good Luck

No cats in the Sauk or Long Prairie? I've gotta say I'm a little surprised. All those bends look primo!
