I will be there next week, just wondering if the walleyes are biting and what people are using to catch them. Thanks for your help.

The bite's been a little tougher with the hot weather. Some guides out last week did better on crappies than walleyes. Still, the water level is up and clouded from some big rains a week ago...full moon on the 24th, the pattern should pick up. Troll leeches or crawler rigs with spinners at dusk or dawn. Also check the weeds. As a shallow lake, Mary's 'eyes may set in the shade of the weeds for O2 and cooler water. Weedless jigs with leeches or fatheads should probe that pattern.
