Ten Mile...I don't hear much anywhere about it, so maybe it's a secret... Although I can say M.E.A. weekend in October is magical.
PCG

I HAVE BEEN FISHING TEN MILE OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FOR SOMETIME NOW. LOTS OF GOOD FISHING ON THIS LAKE. IN THE SPRING YOU WILL FIND BASS AND NICE SIZED CRAPPIES IN THE BULL RUSHES IN 4-6 FEET. WALLEYE FISHING CAN BE VERY GOOD AROUND THIS TIME AT NIGHT ON CRANKBAITS. TYPICALLY IN EARLY SPRING THE BAY WHERE QUIET WOODS CAMPGROUD IS LOCATED IS PRETTY CROWDED ON WEEKENDS, BUT THATS BECAUSE THE FISH ARE THERE. TRY A FATHEAD MINNOW ON A ROAD RUNNER JIG HEAD AND YOU SHOULD HAVE TO MAKE A TRIP BACK TO THE BAIT STORE FOR MORE BAIT!--ATM

I've been fishing on Ten Mile for at least 28 years and it is a great lake for bass fishing and crappie. In Early June you will find the walleyes starting to move to deeper water but at night I can find them feeding on flats. One good spot is right by Arthurs supper club Its a long stretch and you can usally pick up a few there with a black and gold rapala with a split shot about 3 feet above is at a slow troll. The later the deeper they go and you will have to go to the main lake and fish deep reef runners at night, try not to hit me cause there are a lot of us out there. The fall is another good time to catch them.. The bass fishing can at times be awesome before and after the spawn and in the fall. Crappies are crappies find a lot of structure and there should be some around.. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
