Perm. houses off the lake

I believe that permanent houses have to be off the lake by next Friday. Does that mean when we come up next Sat. a.m. that we cant sleep in our house on the lake? Or is it ok to have the house on the lake as long as you are in/with it? From the sound of things I am sure glad that we bagged the road trip to url this weekend.

Me and few other people were also just talking about the same thing.I looked in the regs on pg.43 (see note).According to this I would say no you can't stay in the house overnite.Reg says - Portable shelters
may be placed on the ice 1 hr. before sunrise to midnight.If I'm wrong someone also let me know.Thanks (Maybe the tickets cheaper than a motel) haha

i don't know about hard houses, but last year(and you can double check with donnie or kelly)the co's were fairly relaxed about portables being off the lake overnight rule, as long as it was occupied.to tell you the truth, we were out a few times after midnite last year 5-6 miles out, many times we were the only ones in site, and you just had the feeling like who the heck is gonna bother you. just couldn't see someone giving us a hard time about it. and no one ever did. but you should check first. i think donnie was bringing his hard houses in each nite. don't remember for sure. like i say, double check. keep a low profile--------jigglestick------

Our local C. O.'s have been real good about this issue. As long as the house is occupied it can be on the lake. That's good cause with this cold weather we are still making ice.
