Lower Red Lake

Is there anyone i could talk to about getting a permit to fish Lower Red Lake? I heard from someone that you can obtain one somehow. Please let me know asap. Thanks.

It isnt possible to get a permit to fish lower red. The Red Lake band owns all of it and two thirds of Upper and it is against the law to fish any of it. Maybe someday they will have permits to fish it, but it aint now and if they ever have them we will all here about it.

I understand that a person can get a permit to fish other small lakes on the reservation but not Upper or Lower Red Lake. It is against their tribal by-laws for any non band member to fish the two big lakes.
