Biggest confirmed crappie?

I have heard rumors of 20"+ crappies comming out of Red. Any truth to that? What is the biggest legitimate, measured crappie anyone has seen?

I know of two in that range. Both about 15 years ago. Ed Hudec caught one in his channel and Steve Hanks also caught one about that size. Back then we were focused on walleyes and didn't pay much attention to crappies. We thought the record was something like 10-11 pounds so we didn't think it was any big deal. Were we DUMB!
There also was one caught in an indian net that was supposed to be huge. People I know saw the mount so I believe it is a true tale.
The house, mount and all the pictures burned.
