Has anyone pursued the Famous slabber with Wax Worms?

On the only trip I made last year up to Red, most of the fish caught were iced using Ratfinkes tipped with waxies. It is definitely worth jigging with a waxie while having a minnow in your second hole.

ran out of minows once - caught 45 crappies on micro wigglers(power bait) once in about 10 minutes. No BS fast as I could put it down with a friend taking the fish off as I tried to get it to the bottom. PS I didnt keep them all.

hey gconda--- are you going up any time soon? i tried that power bait stuff, no luck, must have put it on the wrong end of the hook or something maybe while youre giving me free fishing tips you could check out the old camper. yep. hasn't changed much from the outside, but you wouldn't recognize it on the inside. how did that fella from st.cloud take the bad news? we will be going out of hudec's probably early this next week. and then the next weekend.
