Sturgeon season reopens July 1st! Any one planning to fish for sturgeon?

We'll be up from Friday 'til Wednesday or so and I hope to get out at least one of the evenings for the sturg.

Are the sturgeon still pretty thick by the grass island with the beacon out in four mile now? I would think that fishing that deep hole there would work. What are your thoughts? I'd like to get down to Clementson and try for some smallies also.

MJ - Deep holes are a great place to target sturgeon, should do OK there. Not familiar with LOW but the river is a great place to fish for sturgeon. Now the levels and current are good fishing should get real exciting!
