Fishing Report?

Everyone here seems to be posting about the access but nobody is talking fishing. Is anybody catching any fish? I was up last Fri and caught 10 but haven't seen any reports since. I am heading up this Friday...pending boss's approval, and would like to know if anybody is catching anything. Frontier or Birchdale; any reports will help....thanks

Fished yesterday on the Rainy. It sure was great to be back in the boat. We launched at Birchdale. First time going over the ice. It went real good. Not much ice left there, about 20'. Went down river. Tried one spot we had fished before, nothing. Went to the next spot and within 10 minutes my partner had a nice 26" in the boat. Started a drift from a 20' hole up to 14'. The fish were up on the edges of the hole. Would pick up 1 or 2 fish each drift. Chartrusse was the hot color right away, then when the sun came out my red jig turned on. Tried a couple of other colors and found a white/chartrusse Fuzzy Grub also to be good. All were tipped with medium sized shiners. Ended up keeping our 4. We caught a lot of nice fish. The 26 inch'er was the largest one of the day, with a bunch of 16-20" inch'ers mixed in. After catching all those 12-15" on the ice this year, these things looked like monsters.

Fished Tues 3/23 - Thurs 3/25, 37 degree surface temps, 1/4 oz. orange or red jigs undressed with smaller rainbows, drifting downstream slow in 7-9 feet, lots of 18"-20"ers.
