Does anyone know if they are planning on clearing out the birchdale ramp this week...and do you guys think the shoreice at birchdale will be gone by this weekend, as we have a big boat that is going to go in there. Let me know ASAP thanks guys!

March 22 at Birchdale. County told one of our customers that they would not clean out the ramp since there was 30' of shore ice. Wonder, will they with 20'? All we can do is hope mother nature warms up enough to melt more and the possibility of the county cleaning it out before the weekend. We just dont want it become a "safety" factor and have someone get hurt or a truck slide into the river!

Safety is a big issue. Because if the fish are biting and people know they are out there, they do crazy things just to catch them. Shoreice isnt a too big of a danger, its more of a pain in the behind, but some people go to extremes just to get out there, and im one of them. I called the person up there and told them it was a safety issue and someone could get hurt, even though i just left a message. Maybe they will clean it out, have you tried calling them Sandee?
