Spring Season 2005

Looking at the new DNR regs and it shows the Rainy River open May 15th 2004 to February 28th, 2005. Does this eliminate the spring 2005 season, or do they wait until the 2005 regs come out to list the spring season?

I think they wait until the 2005 booklet comes out since it states the regulations are Effective March 1, 2004
through February 28, 2005. The spring season with the 2 fish limit on the Rainy begins on March 1, 2005 so it wouldn't be listed.

Scarey, years past the booklet mentions the season running till 4/14 on the river. The other border waters that allow the late fishing are still showing a close date of 4/14 2005 in the 04 reg book {LOTW, Namakan, Rainy L.}, as they have in past years as well.

I'm sure Sandee will figure this out soon.

I looked in the 2003 regs, it's listed the same way, there shouldn't be any need to worry.
