The end of May and Early June there are tons of big smallies right below the dam. Make sure you stay on the MN side though. They watch for it!

I am from I Falls and am headed up there this weekend to get the boat ready for the season. I haven't really fished on the river much, but would it be worth my while to go wet a line below the Boise dam and see what happens? And if so, got any tips that could help me out?
