Canadian Side open later?

I checked the OMNR regs and it looks like April 14.

The 19th Canadian, using current exchange rate, is approx. equal to the 14th U.S..

Sorry, just couldn't help myself. Actually, I don't know when the Canadian side closes, but I'm sure if you are going to buy a Canadian licence, you wiil be able to find out. Good Luck WCT

Ontario walleye fishing closes April 14th. The openers in May is the 17th, one week following the US-MN side.

I had visions of having the river to myself, I figured this was misinformation, thanks all who cleared up my confusion.
