Is the fishing getting better? havn't been up for a month, they biting in the gap?

It's getting a little better. Some fish have moved up river, the gaps have produced more lately with some bigger fish. More cold weather should move more in.

i like to see it get cold, maybe i should plan a trip up to my parents house every weekend i can untill freeze up. I am just glad my wife loves fishing too, it makes her easy to convince to head up.

Well we were up ther October 8, 9, & 10th and we had to fish in the gap. The fish were not yet in the river. We were catching about 25-35 a day and they were all small (4 people). we only had one that was 23" so that was disapointing, it will be good in about a week or 2. They were biting on shiners and Gold jigs,
