Some good shore fishing spots?

Besides the 10th street dam in St. Cloud, does anyone have some ideas on where I can find some decent crappie or walleye action from shore? I was thinking of traveling as far as the chain but not much more as my time is pretty limited with school and work. If you dont want to post your spots here but are looking for a fishing partner I would be more than willing to accompany someone for a trip to the lake. Thanks guys(and girls).

You may want to give Hwy 22 on Horseshoe a try. The walleyes and crappies are biteing right off of shore near the winter access. Otherwise the Cold Spring dam area near the Granite Company can produce great this time of the year.

i noticed a guy fishing there today when i drove by to go to another spot on horseshoe. i never new they were fishing for walleyes there though, just assumed it was a panfish spot. i did catch a few on horseshoe today but being only one was big enough to fillet i threw them all back. there were a few small crappies mixed in with the walleyes too. anyone else have any other suggestions they want to share?

Middle Spunk lake in Avon. Fish the rocky shoreline on the north end off of the frontage road to albany (near public beach). Lots of area to fish and a good walleye spot. Hope I didn't give away someones secret spot!
