BEST EATIN' WALLEYE SIZE???

Throughout many of the posts, I've noticed quite a number of opinions on the best size to keep walleyes...Is there a definitive answer....what impact does the harvest have on the lake, etc...just curious....I rarely keep anything over 20"....but some have said that the 20" are best put back.....so do we keep the bananas and return the rest? What do the limnologists and DNR reps say?

I like to keep 13 to 17 inchers.

A lot depends on the lake. If it's a strictly put and take lake(DNR Stocked without natural reproduction) I'm more likely to keep a bigger fish or two. But lakes with natural reproduction it's 15-21 inches for me. The best eating ones are the 15-17 inchers though.
