lake korois/rice lake

Can anyone tell me if you can get through the river from koronis to rice lake? We will be going up there in 10 days and we have heard that you can. Also, any tips on what is working good for a good walleye bite? Is leeches or minnows the trick or crankbaits. Any info would be great.

If you go through keep your motor up and go slow as there are a number of rocks in there. From what I can remember most of the bigger ones are by the bridge by Rice.

As for 'eyes I caught them off of the dock on the outside of the weedline, the bass and sunnies were on the shore side of the weeds mostly right on the edge of the weed line.

It shouldn't be a problem. I haven't seen Rice this high for several years.

It's been a weed bite on both lakes. You can troll cranks over the top or on the edge and do well. Or work them with livebait or plactics.

Right now crawlers seem to be outfishing leeches.
