Horseshoe fishing tournament

The 21st annual Heart of Minnesota Fishing Tournament will be held tomorrow on the Horseshoe chain of lakes. This is a multi-species tournament that is a lot of fun. The contest starts at 6:00 and goes until 4:30. The weigh station is at the #23 bridge south of Richmond. There will be a lot of boats on the water tomorrow but there is a lot of good angling opportunities on the Chain. Hopefully the weather will be good on Saturday and hopefully the fish will cooperate as well.

I'll post the results from the tournament as soon as I can. See ya on the water. smile.gif

The turnout was fantastic with 400 buttons sold. The storm the night before made for some tough fishing as anglers had to work a little harder for their fish. Next years tournament will be June 11th. Congrats to all the winners. smile.gif
