HELP!!!

Titans: Koronis is a excellent lake with tons of structure. You will find rock bars,sand flats, weed bars etc. As far as walleyes I would key in on the weed edges out there the walleyes like to hang right on the edges. Also give 3rd island a try there is a rock finger that usally produces that time of year. Panfish may be tough to find. Koronis has some huge gills and monster crappies and if you find them the rewards will be worth it. The smallies like to hang off of the rock fingers on 2nd and 3rd island, throw rattle traps shallow and work the edges deeper with live bait rigs and a crawlers. Feel free to email me as your trip gets closer as I fish Koronis hard for eyes and smallies and I may be able to give you some recent info.

I am new to this and I posted a question yesterday and did not get one response. I am an avid fisherman and taking my family to lake koronis for there first trip. Can any one help me out on what to use and where to fish on Koronis. I will be going the first week in July. Thanks

Titans....stick with panfish for a 6 year old, just my advice. Most of the bays hold them along with bass (smallies are around the islands). You should be able to run into a decent trolling bite too on the main lake where you will pick up occassional eye's and northerns by pulling plugs. Look for weedbeds for this presentation. Nav

Thanks Icehawk, I will try this. I really appreciate the info. I hope our trip produces some action. That time of year it could be hard to catch the fish, but I have heard that fishing Koronis is very good, we are counting down the days. My father is coming with us as well. He is Blind and loves to fish as well. This sounds like this will be a good time.
