I'm just curious to get any information about this lake? How is the fishing, water quality, recreation usage?? Any help would be much appreciated.

We are looking for a lake home in area, if anyone can direct us to decent lakes that are not overpriced. THANKS

This is a very nice lake with lots of sunnies and crappies. All other species are present as well. That area of lakes offers great fishing and recreation. There are a few guys that live over that way that could give you better advice than I could so maybe they will chime in. Over priced? Well, all the lake homes are over priced in that area and for about 100 miles around. Just the way it is because of the population growth. Lake shore is a hot buy these days! Good luck!

I've heard several reports that it is a very good pan-fish lake. How about Water Quality (does it get pretty green?) and Weeds?

I have been fishing Goodners Lake for over 30 years.
There is some good fishing to be had here.
Bluegills and crappies provide most of the action. Most are small, with a few nice sized mixed in.
Pike and Bass, also run on the small side.
I did release a 29" Pike last winter along with several 23-25" class fish.
No walleyes, at least I have never caught them out there.
The lake gets very weedy later in the summer. This is why it is so fertile and a all around good fishery.

Lakeshore is over-priced everywhere in my honest opinion.

Hope this helps... smile.gif

Anyone been out fishing here lately? I heard May/Early June was great Crappie/Bass bite.

Has it weeded up yet or still looking good?

If all else fails, the bottle bass are biting at Pearl Lake Lodge!
