I need to learn Two Rivers Lake. Can some one tell me a good place to start for sunnies or crappies. Tired of chasing all over morrison, stearns, and todd countys on fishing reports. Don't catch much fish that way

You may want to check out the thread about halfway down this page on Two Rivers.

Haven't been to Two Rivers for about 2 weeks now. the last time out caught crappies on the north portion of the lake. We were off the east shoreline in about 22 ft of water. Bite was good from sundown to approx 830p. We came out of the public access on the west side of the lake. this was all before the warm weather so can't help you with the conditions on the ice at this time. Good luck be safe. Bill

Most of the panfish action takes place on the N. end on this lake. Crappies provide the most consistant action. Sunfish while being present are not numuerous, but are very nice size. The lack of weed cover in this lake can make locating them a challenge.

There are two spots on the N. end that usually hold fish. The first is on the W. side. There is a sunken island and the crappies relate to the deeper water on the North and West side of it. The second spot is on the E. side. There is a small creek that enters the lake find the 23' depth and your in buisness.

Good Fishing!
Paul

Squirlley: Tour Pro is right on with the info he provided. Our success was on the east side. The thread that was referred to is #20 or #21 on this page entitled Two Rivers Report. Hope you get into some. Bill
