Horseshoe ice Conditions

Would i be able to drive a truck out on there, I've heard the ice can be a little iffy in some places so what areas of the lake should i avoid?

Avoid the river area near the Hwy 22 bridge.
Avoid the meth hole area, main lake.
Avoid the river area leading into Long Lake.

I drove out there on Sunday and found 20 plus inches where I drilled.
You do need 4X4 because of all the snow.
Make sure to bring a shovel.

Avoid neck down areas.

We found areas with 6" or less and slush on top.

I recommend you do not drive your car or truck on Horseshoe unless you know it VERY well and the ice conditions wherever you drive.
